Greg began his path in yoga at an early age, almost as an intuition or a gift the universe placed in his path.
In the 80’s Greg first traveled to India where he studied with various teachers.
In Rishikesh, north of India, he attended the ashrams of Ved Niketan and Shivananda, where he immersed himself in the practice of yoga. He attended classes with Master Rudra and followed the Iyengar style.
Greg then moved to the Holy City of Varanasi (Benares), where he studied with Guru G Prakash and learnt Hatha yoga, Kundalini yoga and Krya philosophy, originally taught by Paramahansa Yogananda (Autobiography of a Yogi).
In 2001 Greg decided to dedicate three years of his life living in India. This allowed him to deepen his practice and learning without interruptions. During this time, he met Yogi PandeyRrakesh, where he acquired knowledge in the kryas technique for purification. In Varanasi he studied Ashtanga, Hatha and Raja yoga under Sunil Kumar and Guru G.
After many years of constant practice, theoretical and philosophical learning he starts teaching yoga at the University of Benares and other locations across India.
While in India he also immersed himself in the study of Ayurveda (science of life) that he combines with yoga. He studied with Guru Anand Pitambar at the University of Trivandrum, Kerala.
Here he is taught different styles of massage and how to combine oils and herbs to transmit healing.
Greg has now opened Anam Yoga Centre in Otres Village, Cambodia. He offers daily yoga classes and retreats, along with Ayurvedic courses and massages.
